Day 8: Children's Museum

Playing in the Enchanted Park Theater
I had a great time today with my niece’s Karsen and Katie at the Children’s Museum in Walla Walla.

They tried their hand at cooking and serving in the Wee Walla Walla Italian Restaurant. Shopping and scanning their food items at the cash register in the Wee Walla Walla Harvest Market.

Girls busy grocery shopping
The girl’s favorite spot was the Wee Walla Walla Animal Clinic where there was a choice of X-rays to view, an exam table with props and stuffed animals to tend to.

At the Huff n'Puff House the girls took a try of using the power from riding a bike to light up a light bulb.

Powering the light
The Enchanted Park Theater offered a variety of musical instruments, costumes, and puppets, along with a stage that has a TV monitor for viewing the performances.

The Children’s Museum has a large number of educational hands-on exhibit areas that would entertain children ages 1-12. All Children must be accompanied by an adult. The admission to the museum is $4/person. There are special rates for groups of 15 or more and for Birthday Parties. The museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. It is located at 77 Wainwright Drive. (West on Poplar Street, South on Avery Street just past Hallett Cinemas.)
