This weekend is Fall Release weekend for our area wineries. We had a great time at the club member breakfast at Amavi Cellers. The vineyard was beautiful with it’s fall leaf colors. The panoramic views are amazing from their spacious deck.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was catered by Leyah’s Catering. The wine was superb. Amavi Cellars crafts elegant, approachable wines, focusing on estate-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Their 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon varietals; 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, and 5% Syrah, and 3% Cabernet Franc. It has full and generous flavors of black cherries and plums that complement hints of mineral and cocoa powder.
