I stopped by the Peach and Pear European Style Frozen Yogurt and Fruit Forward Desserts shop for a taste of their naturally fermented yogurt. The owner, Beth Gennette was greeting Cheryl Thyken, Walla Walla Downtown Foundation. Cheryl was telling me how wonderful Beth’s yogurt was and she was right. I had a taste of the vanilla yogurt with a dollop of pomegranate syrup. Very tasty! The Peach and Pear Yogurt Shop also offers fresh warm black berry, peach and apple pie sauces, pound cakes with a strawberry sauce, brownie with yogurt and hot fudge sauce, along with over thirteen different nut, chocolate, and candy toppings. In the future they hope to offer a variety of wine juice sauces. There is a variety of loose leaf teas and a cold pressed coffee.

Something you may not know about the yogurt in this shop is that there are only 105 calories in a 6 oz serving. The Peach and Pear is open seven days a week, from 10am-6pm Sunday thru Thursday and 10am to 7pm on Friday and Saturday. They are located at
15 1st Avenue, in Walla Walla.
