Young musicians, Rock Camp 2016 is happening the week of August 1-5. This free 1-week intensive performance camp gives youths in grades 7-12 an opportunity to interact with young musicians and music enthusiasts in a real-life production setting. Participants will prepare and produce a Rock n Roll concert that will be held at Washington Park on Friday, August 5 at 5:30 pm.
Sessions for the camp are 9am-3pm. Registration is open to the first 50 registrants. Participants will be introduced to instrument and ensemble coaching, song writing, song selection and arranging, professionalism and stage presence, as well as marketing and promoting a music production.
