The annual Frazier Farmstead Museum Summer Festival is taking place on Saturday, June 25th. Guests will enjoy dinner and dancing to live music provided by Robin Barrett and the Coyote Kings. There will be an assortment of Walla Walla Valley wines and beer by Dragon's Gate Brewery. Tickets for the event are $40 each and can be purchased by calling the museum at 541-938-4636.
Frazier Farmstead Museum is located at 1403 Chestnut Street in Milton-Freewater. The six acre site was settled in 1868. The Frazier home was built in 1892 and is housed with antiques furnishings original to the home. There is also a 1918 barn, a carriage house and several other buildings which were an important part of a turn of the century farm. In 1983 the entire estate and it's contents were willed to the Milton-Freewater Area Foundation. The Summer Festival is a fundraiser to help support the museum.
