Best in Show Dog Show

Balboa Winery and the Blue Mountain Humane Society present the fourth annual Best in Show dog show! This humorous dog show is the perfect way to spend a Saturday for dog owners and admirers.

This event features dogs competing in the following categories:

-Most Attractive Dog
-Best Rescue Dog
-Goldie Oldie (7 years and older)
-Best Trick
-Looks Most Like Owner
-Best Junior Handler
-Best Puppy (1 year and under)
-Best Toy Dog
-Best Large Breed Dog

Owners can register their dog for $25 per dog in the category of their choice with entry into additional categories available for $10 each. Entry fees include a glass of wine (for the owners), custom set of dog tags, and potential bragging rights in the coming year. 

Viewers and owners can purchase customized event tee shirts, wine, and more with all proceeds benefiting the Blue Mountain Humane Society. The Humane Society will be on site with adoptable puppies, information about their organization, and raffles for prizes. A food truck will also be on site all afternoon.

Best in Show is from Noon-2 p.m. on June 11 at Balboa Winery, which is located at 4169 Peppers Bridge Rd. in Walla Walla. To register please visit
