The Walla Walla Balloon Stampede is here! This is the 42nd Balloon Stampede. The Stampede will be held at Howard Tietan Park in Walla Walla. Don't miss this once a year phenomenon. There will be over 30 balloons present with inflations every morning from Oct. 12-16.

Kid's Day!- 7:15 a.m.
Balloons inflate and stay at the venue to share the “Dream
of Flight” with the children of Walla Walla. Last year, nearly 1,000 kids had
the opportunity to get in a basket and float off the ground.

"V.I.P. Day Launch"-
This is the first “all fly” morning for the 42nd Balloon
Stampede featuring over 30 balloons.
Special Shapes Round-Up-
Enjoy the fun as our “Special Shape” balloons inflate and
jump into the sky with the round balloons (weather permitting).
"Night Glow Spectacular"-
Night Glow Spectacular turns darkness into day as a select
group of balloons inflate and glow their balloons in what is considered by many
to be ballooning’s signature display.

Mayor's Cup Launch- 7:15 a.m.
Pilots will be required to fly away from the launch site and fly back to where they took off. Saturday’s most successful pilot at navigating
their aircraft will be awarded the “Mayor’s Cup” for aviation
excellence. All thirty plus balloons are expected to fly this morning.

The "Great Launch" - 7:15 a.m.
Imagine all thirty plus balloons lifting off in just thirty
seconds! The "Great Launch" will see
the launch site completely cleared of balloons in a matter of seconds.
