Join Allegro Cyclery and the Blue Mountain Land Trust on June 6th for one of three bike rides around the Valley. Each ride varies in difficulty, but all will enjoy the scenic views that our valley has to offer as well as fresh air and ice cream.
The first ride features a seven mile out and back route along Mill Creek to Rooks park. This ride is designed for children and families. Riders may see some waterfowl along this gentle, uphill ride, as well as beautiful views of the lower hills at Bennington Lake. The ride will take about an hour.
The second ride option features a 17 mile course through vineyards and tasting rooms. Riders will enjoy the scenery at an average of about 12 m.p.h. After the hour and a half ride, participants can return to tasting rooms at their leisure.
The third ride features a 24 mile course with great views of the Blue Mountains and the Valley. The ride follows wheat fields and vineyards, will be about two hours long, and will average a speed of about 15 m.p.h. There will be a few gradual or short climbs.
All rides start and end at Wildwood park.
