All-Comers Track and Field

The All-Comers Track and Field event is back! This is a fun opportunity for kids to compete in track and field events while making friends, having fun, and getting exercise. 

Kids ages 12 and under can display their track and field skills at this youth track meet. Kids will join the Walla Walla Parks and Recreation and Whitman College's Cross Country and Track team and compete to win a ribbon. This event is a great opportunity to introduce kids to track and field in a fun way. 

This annual event will take place at Martin Field Track, next to Borleske Stadium on Sunday, May 3rd at 3:00 p.m. Cost to participate is: $3.00 for preregistration, or $5.00 for on-site registration. On-site registration is from 2:30-2:45 prior to the event. 

The running events include: 50 and 100 meter for anyone 12 and younger, 200 meter for ages 6-12, the 400 meter for ages 8-12, the 1 miles for ages 10-12, and the 50 meter hurdles for ages 12 and under. The field events include: softball throw, javelin, and long jump. 

Participants will be divided into these age brackets: 3 and under, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12. Ribbons will be awarded to all participants and to the top three finishers in each event.
