This is a big spring event at Lyons Park in College Place! The highlight of the spring is the After School Fishing Derby for youths, 14 years and younger. Join the park for this enjoyable afternoon catching fish and enjoying the great weather the valley has been having.
The fishing derby is this Friday, May 1st, after school from 4:00-7:00. It will be at College Place Lyons Parl Pond. Parl pond, at Lyons Park is a pond just off of Garrision Creek. It is going to be stocked with 200 good-sized fish this year by the Washington Fish and Wildlife Department. This pond is a year round juvenile fishing area.
Lyons Park is located on Southeast Larch Ave. in College Place.
