Sustainable Living Center: Water Conservation at Home

The Sustainable Living Center presents a panel of local experts about how to conserve water in and around your home.

Walla Walla means "many waters", but as many people know drought often plagues this area. Conserving water is an excellent way to ensure we protect our natural resources.

At this event Chris Hyland, Executive Director of the Walla Walla Watershed Management Partnership, will provide an overview of the work the Partnership does and its role in managing the Valley's water supply. Brad Daly, City of Walla Walla Stormwater Coordinator, will speak on the City's water quality and conservation efforts. Dave Stockdale, Director of the WWCC Water & Environment Center, will discuss the role of community members and how we can take specific steps to reduce household water waste.

This event is free! It will be on March 15 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Water and Environment Center on the Walla Walla Community College campus, which is located at 500 Tausick Way in Walla Walla. For more information please call 509-524-5228.
