The Innocent Man Book Discussion

Calling all crime drama fans! There will be a discussion of The Innocent Man, John Grisham's newest non-fiction book. Join the discussion, lead by Walla Walla Chief of Police Scott Bieber. He has been working in law enforcement for almost 31 years and will be able to lend valuable insight into The Innocent Man. 

The Innocent Man is the story of a washed-up hometown baseball hero who is charged, tried, and sentenced to death. The witnesses lied and the evidence was tainted, allowing the true killer to go free. 

The Innocent Man book discussion will be held at Walla Walla Public Library as the beginning of their Big Idea Talks: The Puzzle of Crime on January 14th at 6:30 p.m. The library is located at 238 E. Alder St. in Walla Walla.
