Day 93: Art Talk at Willow Gallery

Right here in Walla Walla there is a sophisticated Art Gallery similar to one you might find in a big city. Willow Art Gallery on the corner of Second and Rose in Walla Walla is located in the historic Pantorium Building. Architect John Campbell made a space that is truly amazing. As you enter Willow you can’t miss the large metal tree that was created by Doug Gisi. On this level local you will find hand crafted jewelry, soaps, journals, note cards, ceramics, pastel paintings, and other gift items. The striking fir staircase leads up to the gallery. Photography is not allowed in this area. It is an amazing space with lot’s of light.

This month Ian Boyden is displaying his works of art, Eccentric Orbits. A reception and Art Talk with be held Friday, February 4th from 5-8pm. In this show the inks in Boyden’s sold works are made from a meteorite. Also presented with his work is an actual meteorite. Willow is open Monday, Thursday, and Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 12pm-4pm.
