Day 20: Sweet Basil Pizzaria

Hungry for lunch, so we stopped by Sweet Basil Pizzaria in downtown Walla Walla. At Sweet Basil you have the opportunity to purchase fresh hand tossed pizza by the slice. There is a daily pizza special to choose from along with the many others. The best selling pizza according to owner, John Bowen, is the Pesto Pizza. It has a basil pesto sauce, fresh garlic, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, black olives, and mozzarella cheese.

Their most unique pizza's are the Potato Pizza with olive oil, fresh garlic, potato, salt, rosemary, plus gorgonzola cheese and the Tai Chicken Pizza with Tai peanut sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, carrot, green onion and cilantro. This family owned Pizzaria is open Monday-Saturday 11am-9pm and  is located at 5 South 1st Avenue, in Walla Walla.
