Day 14: Pioneer Park

Nothing better that a warm day in the fall to enjoy the beautiful autumn colors at Pioneer Park. Pioneer Park is the oldest park in Walla Walla. It sits on 58 acres and features 2 duck ponds, rose garden, sports areas, play equipment, a gazebo, and an aviary. The park was created in 1901 when a group of citizens transformed a former cow pasture into what is now considered the crown jewel of Walla Walla. Pioneer Park is a popular spot for picnics, weddings, and sporting events. It is located on the corner of Division and Alder Street.
