Friends Festival of Music

Friends of Children of Walla Walla is hosting the Second Annual Friends Festival of Music Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Festivities start at 10 a.m. with a free Family Festival. The festival will be located at Heritage Park in Walla Walla, the park’s back parking lot and East Spokane St. There will be activities for everyone to enjoy, including interacting with Izzy the Camel and a basketball clinic by Whitman College. Local non-profits and the community will have the opportunity to host a booth in the park during the festival. 

An opening reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Olive Marketplace and Café, with live music by local artist Dean Snyder. Beginning at 7 p.m., community members will be able to enjoy music at eight different venues located throughout downtown Walla Walla. Each venue will feature different performers and a variety of music genres.
