Kitchens on the tour include: a stately, classic kitchen, a new environmentally friendly kitchen, an outdoor year round kitchen and more! There will also be 3 raffle items- an organic Walla Walla Sweet Onion gift basket, a package of gift certificates to local businesses, and a basket of handmade kitchen items. Raffle tickets will be sold the day of the event at 3 select kitchens.
This event is a fundraiser for AAUW (American Association of University Women). Proceeds from this event will provide college scholarships to local women as well as fund community educational projects.
The Kitchen Tour is Sunday October 4th from Noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 and come with a full color tour guide. The Kitchen Tour is a self guided tour which means that attendees can set their own pace. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Bright's Candies, Earthlight books, at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/ or at Jacobi's the day of the event. Tour guide pick-up is between Noon and 2 p.m. on Oct. 4th at Jacobi's Cafe which is located at 416 N. 2nd Ave. in Walla Walla.
