Saturday July 18th Events
There are quite a few things going on this Saturday in Walla Walla that you won't want to miss!
Red Monkey is wrapping up "Burger Week" with "The Godfather". $1 from each burger and beer sold will go to benefit the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters Burn Foundation. Red Monkey is located at 25 W. Alder St.
The Downtown Farmer's Market will be bright with local produce and handmade goods from 9-1 at Crawford Park on Main St. Enjoy delicious food, wonderful people, and local entertainment at the market.
Summer Saturdays at the Ranch, at Spring Valley Vineyard is an open invitation to relax and explore the garden at Spring Valley. They recommend you bring a picnic lunch and taste their current vintages. From 11-3 at 1663 Corkrum Rd. in Walla Walla.
Walking and Tasting Tour at L'Ecole between 11 and 3. This is a guided walking tour of the iconic schoolhouse and winery while tasting current vintages. The tour takes about an hour and costs $15 per person, maximum 8 people. Call 509-525-0940 to make a reservation. Located at 41 Lowden School Rd. in Lowden.
Wine Tour and Tasting at Forgeron Cellars from 1-4. Witness the magic of making wine and learn about the process at Forgeron, located at 33 W. Birch St.
The Summer Concert series at Heritage Park continues from 4-7. This is a free event. Stop by the park to listen to local talent.
Wasteland Kings- Live at Sinclair Cellars. Enjoy a stripped down acoustic show from 6-9. $5 cover, located at 109 E. Main St.
Dan Dingman- Live at Sapolil Cellars. No cover, located at 15 E. Main St.
Gary Hemenway performing live at Plumb Cellars at 6:30. No Cover. Located at 39 E. Main St.
Whiskey Creek Band is playing at Burwell's Wateringhole Tavern at 7 p.m. Burwell's is located at 51589 Highway 332 in Milton-Freewater.
There is a Sweets game at Borleske against the Bend Elks at 7:05. Be sure to support our Sweets!
Parking Lot Party with Shanks Pony at 8:30 at Kelly's Bar which is located at 84509 OR-11 Milton-Freewater. $5 cover.
BlueMeadows Live at Sapolil Cellars 9pm-Midnight. A Native American Interpretive Groove musician who utilizes his voice and the guitar. The full bar will be available and food will be served until 11 p.m.
