Celebrate Walla Walla Valley Wine: The World of Merlot

It's time to celebrate Walla Walla wine with the World of Merlot event. This event brings together over 60 winemakers, including a few noted international winemakers to taste and discuss Merlot. 

This event will also host well known wine critics and experts as guests explore the world's most beloved wine. 

Guests will be able to participate in special tastings of rare vintage wines, one of a kind winemaker dinners, and receptions with some of the Valley's most acclaimed winemakers. 

Guests will also have a chance to contrast the growing conditions, wine styles, and wines of the Valley with wines from France, Italy, and Napa California.

Friday, June 19, 2015
8:30 - 10:00 a.m. World of Merlot kick-off at the Power House Theatre

3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Winemaker panel and discussion at Marcus Whitman Hotel

6:00-8:30 p.m. Merlot wine tasting and dinner at Reid Center at Whitman College

Saturday, June 20, 2015
6:00-9:00 p.m. Winemaker dinner series throughout the Valley. 

The World of Merlot event begins June 18th and runs through June 20th. Event locations vary.
