Outside the Lines Art Camp

Summer is quickly approaching! If you're looking for summer activities for kids look no farther than Outside the Lines Art Studio where fun, art, and fostering each child's creativity are core values. Outside the Lines Art Studio has classes designed to encourage creativity a explore art.

Katy Rizzuti is the founder and teacher behind Outside the Lines. She graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle and has been teaching for ten years, first at Carnegie Art Center for school age children, and then as a preschool teacher. She implements teaching techniques that guide kids down their own creative path and allows their creativity to flourish. Her methods are flexible and help to cultivate a passion about learning in each child.

These classes use high quality art materials to honor each child's process and work. Katy teaches students how to care for materials and to use them with respect. Using high quality tools creates more vivid work, encourages the children to work more slowly and carefully, and helps reduce frustration that inexpensive materials can cause.

The classes below are for children ages 5-12. There are also classes available for children 3-4 years old. These can be found on Katy's website: http://outsidethelinesartstudio.com/
