Narrating Hanford's Downinders

How much do you know about Hanford? Chances are: not much. You probably know when it was in operation and that it was a large part of the reason that the Tri-Cities became such a large town. You probably know that since that time there have been some environmental repercussions and clean up efforts have provided many jobs.

These are the basics and most of us know them. Trisha Pritikin is here to take us beyond the basics and into what really went on at Hanford. Trisha is a Hanford Downwinder, an attorney, and an international advocate for people exposed to Hanford's radiation. She will be giving a lecture that coincides with the art exhibit Particles on the Wall, an Exhibit with Conscience at Whitman College.

This lecture is free and open to the public. It is tomorrow, April 15th at 7 p.m. in Maxey Auditorium on the Whitman campus.
