Our Town by Thorton Wilder is a Pulitzer Prize winning play about life and love in a small town. The town in question is Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, a fictional stage on which the audience members witness the townspeople's daily lives, loves and marriages, and eventually their experiences with death and dying. This play was performed successfully on Broadway and is a departure from most plays because it was written to be performed without a set or props.
Located in the China Pavilion at Walla Walla Community College, Our Town will be on stage beginning today, the 5th, and will continue on the 6th, 7th, 12th, 14th, and 15th of March at 7:00 p.m. There will be a matinee show at 2:00 p.m. on March 8th.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket box office located in the bookstore, or by calling 509-527-4255.
