Mumford and Sons are Coming to Walla Walla!

Mumford & Sons are bringing their tour to Walla Walla! The band chose Walla Walla WA because of our historic downtown, our unique vibe, and picturesque setting. One of the goals of the tour, according to Mumford & Sons is, "We deliberately look for towns that have something unique, or some vibe of which they are proud, explore them and enjoy what they have to offer". 

On August 14th and 15th Mumford & Sons will include Walla Walla as a stopover on their Gentlemen of the Road tour. The event will be held on the Whitman athletic fields.Throughout this music event there will be festivities downtown, great food, lots of live music by local bands, and performances by the bands accompanying the headliners. 

The accompanying bands currently are: Foo Fighters, The Flaming Lips, The Vaccines, Dawes, Jenny Lewis, TuneYards, James Vincent McMorrow, JEFF the Brotherhood, Blake Mills, and more to be announced!

The Foo Fighters will be performing on Aug. 14th in the evening, and Mumford & Sons will be performing on Aug. 15th. 

If you are unfamiliar with the headliner, Mumford & Sons, they are an internationally known, Grammy award winning British folk rock band. Formed in 2007 in London Mumford & Sons have since gained considerable notoriety. Check out their Facebook Page for more on the band!

Tickets go on sale March 6th at 10:00 a.m. and are $199 for both days with no additional fees . You can purchase tickets at gentlemenoftheroad.com or at the Tourism Walla Walla Visitor Center located at 26 E. Main St. The visitor center will only accept credit card purchases and will be open this Friday from 10-5 and Saturday and Sunday from 9-5.
