Beginner Car Care 101


Beginner Car Care 101 is a basic car care class. The class is geared toward young drivers but people of all ages are invited to participate. 

Students will learn how to do basic maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, learn how to deal with road side emergencies, like needing to change a tire, and preventative care methods. The course also teaches about auto care and cleaning, suspensions, steering and tires, basic tools, and more. 

There will be classroom instruction and instruction in the auto shop as well. This class is designed to increase independence, inform about economic decisions regarding car ownership, and enhance owner satisfaction. 

The class begins April 9 and runs until May 7. It is held on Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Auto Mechanic building at Walla Walla Community College. Walla Walla Community College is located at 500 Tausick Way in Walla Walla.

The cost is $49.00.
