'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead' is
a play based on Shakespeare's Hamlet, but with a twist. Instead of focusing on
the main characters in the play, this unique adaptation focuses on two of the
minor characters. Throughout the play these characters struggle to understand
the larger tragedy that is unfolding around them. Their misfortune leads
them on a comical and frightening journey through Elsinore.
Written by Tom Stoppard,
this play is an entertaining departure from the well known play, Hamlet.
