Music 360: The Music of Samuel Jones

The Walla Walla Symphony presents Music 360: "Looking Back... Reaching Forward: The Music of Samuel Jones". Music 360 gives you a complete look at the music and this installment is no exception. This is a 5 day event that explores music in a comprehensive manner. There will be lectures by Dr. Jones and other composers, and then a chance to hear their works. This allows for a thorough understanding (and hopefully, appreciation) for the music.

There are five days of festivities from Feb. 25-Mar. 1. These events include viewing rehearsals, lectures, a soiree, and of course, concerts.

Fridays at Four is Feb. 27th from 4-5:30 in Chism Hall, and is a concert of Samuel Jones' works. This event is free and open to the public. Samuel Jones spent 14 years as the Composer in Residence for the Seattle Symphony.

There are two other concerts and several other events. For a full list of events please visit: Music 360: Sam Jones
