Dayton is celebrating a kick off to Christmas on Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving. Known as the town that still believes, Dayton hosts this 2 day event every year. Visitors can participate in hay rides, meet Santa on Main Street, watch fireworks, partake in wine tasting, stop at an Art Gallery, and shop at the local Christmas market. A lighted Christmas Parade will take place Friday evening. The Liberty Theater will be offering two showings of a free Christmas kick off matinee, The Polar Express on Friday, November 28th. Show times are 2pm and 4pm.
