Walla Walla LRC Chocolate Festival

The Walla Walla LRC Chocolate Festival is Saturday, March 9th, at the Marcus Whitman Hotel and Conference Center. The festival is a contest for professionals, amateurs, and juniors. It is also a family fun tasting event. Guests will be entertained with chocolate games, prizes, a silent auction, and baking contest. Contestants for the baking contest may enter the baking contest in the following categories:

Restaurant
Bakery
Professional/Chef
Amateur
Showpiece
Junior Baker-Kids 8-14 years of age
Junior Showpiece-Kids 8-14 years of age

All entries must be submitted to the Explorer Ballroom at the Marcus Whitman Hotel and Conference Center between 7 and 9am. Judging will start at 9:15am. For a registration form see the web site a lilliericecenter.org. Admission to the event is $2. Bites of chocolate are .50 cents each. Proceeds from the event benefit Lillie Rice Center.
